David McCready
Proprietor
David has been involved with the taxi trade since the age of 16, working as a controller (he can remember pre-GPS days!) and office manager in a local taxi firm in East Kilbride. He then worked as a driver of a general licence Taxi and owner of a private hire car in East Kilbride.
He has kept in contact with his former colleagues and since 1997 he has ten years experience of preparing Trading and Profit and Loss accounts, calculating capital allowances and submitting Self-Assessment tax returns. Now he has made the decision to set up taxibookkeeping.co.uk as a business providing bookkeeping services to the taxi and private hire trade in Central Scotland. His main office is located in Falkirk, and he has access to other office accomodation from Glasgow to Edinburgh.
He has completed his Level 1 and Level 2 Bookkeeping qualifications through the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (www.bookkeepers.org.uk) and has a Practice Licence to provide bookkeeping services to local businesses. A full indemnity insurance policy is in place for legal cover. All certificates can be shown to you to confirm this. From September 2012, he will provide the preparation of year-end accounts to limited companies, charities, clubs and associations.
Currently he offers bookkeeping services, including VAT returns, to taxi companies, small businesses and sole traders (self employed).
In the near future, payroll and office services to taxi companies, small businesses and sole traders (self employed) will be added to the company portfolio.
